grace equals freedom

True and meaningful freedom is simply the consummation of lasting and sustained grace.

I bump into a new blog or two just about every day being that I am a blog junkie.  A couple weeks back I was struck by a quote and a subsequent comment by a new blogger

All the natural movements of the soul are controlled by laws analogous to those of physical gravity.  Grace is the only exception.  -Simone Weil

The blogger writes, He whose will is his Father’s, whose company is his betrayer, whose victory is his forsakenness, whose love is his suffering, is free; the exception which destroys the rule.

If we could only look at our betrayer, forsakenness, and suffering as such.
